This morning as Becky went out to do chores she noticed a fox trotting down the horse’s lane to their paddock.  This is the third time fox has been right out in the open for us to see.  The first time was about 3-4 weeks ago when he was on the driveway and as we drove down the road he crossed our path again.  Well that makes three times so I knew it was time to have a chat with fox and see what he wanted us to know. We have kittens, five little kittens that are about 3 weeks old.  When you live on a farm and have outdoor cats, you naturally end up with more cats who find their way to your place…which is what happened to us. Momma kitty showed up along with a black and white tom cat we named Patches.  Momma kitty is feral and hasn’t let us get more than 4 or 5 feet from her but she is friends with Patches and our neutered male, Red.  She has been brave enough to come up to the deck. Today rabbit showed up to share some insights.  I expected him for the last few weeks and today he was here.   He asked me to call him “Thumper”. In my minds eye I could see him, a light brownish gray, a bit fat and fluffy.  Shortly after I first saw him my entire “tv screen” began to fill up with bunnies.  They were popping up all over and the scene became wider and soon filled with hundreds of bunnies. Here’s what happened.  I went into meditation as usual wondering who might show up and there was Woodpecker.  I remembered hearing him several weeks ago on my daily walk.  This time, he wasn’t drumming on the tree.  Instead, he flew just above my head, where the crown chakra is located and began “drumming” on my crown chakra.  I could feel a strange sensation, a reorganizing of sorts.  He was drumming in a very rhythmic fashion that felt both calming and uplifting at once.
