For Lucy, the best dog of her kind in the World
With a saddened heart I'm sharing with you that we lost our beautiful Lucy yesterday. She crossed over the rainbow bridge about 6 pm with our help. She had a seizure about 3:30 that ended after about 10 minutes and then another that wouldn't end, even with all the drugs the doctors gave her. Although she had experienced a few seizures in the last four months, we hadn't expected this. You never know what the day will bring. Bubbles of Wishes off to the Heavens
My New Year's Eve involved bubbles...but not of the alcoholic kind. They were part of an evening of ritual that began last year with Becky and a few of our dearest friends. This is one of those stories that is funny now...after the fact. And I need to preface it by telling you that no humans or animals were hurt, well at least not permanently. So here goes. Dreams according to King and Doc
I've noticed this very interesting phenomenon. Early in the morning when I am just coming out of the dream state into consciousness my dogs King and Doc are aware of this. They wake when I wake. What's interesting is that it happens as I am coming out of sleep, just barely coming into consciousness...not even really awake.
