Today in my meditation, our herd leader Miami came to me to talk about the end of life for animals. He knew this was weighing on my mind as I have been dealing with many client animals recently preparing to leave their body. Crow insists we go within.
This morning crow showed up in my meditation. First, I heard him calling from a distance. Then he landed next to me at eye level. He tilted his head and brought his left eye very close to my right eye. He stared into my eye and I saw a vision of him looking into me as if he were looking into a long tunnel with various colored rings along the perimeter. It was as if he were looking into my soul. White Buffalo brings me to tears.
As I drifted off into meditation today I found myself back in time on the great plains of the west. There were rolling hills and tall grass bending with the breeze. I could see hundreds of buffalo and felt as if I were observing them as a hunter from a Native American tribe. Quietly I watched the enormous buffalo moving slowly about, grazing quietly and contentedly. The First Snow
The branches are heavy with the first snow as mother nature blankets us in her white quiet. It's as if all the commotion in the world has come to a stop. No war, no greed, no pain. The wood stove heats the room and casts a beautiful orange glow across Doc laying contented in his bed basking in the warmth.
