This morning I sat outside on the swing seat in the shade of one of the gardens completely immersed in the sounds, smells and feelings of all the life around me. It seemed like a good time to ask for any spirit animals that might wish to share some knowledge with me.
Shortly after my request, a wolf appeared. This was not the female wolf I am familiar with who has guided me over the years. This was a male wolf and I could see him in his home territory. It was as if I was transported to where he was which appeared to be out west with mountain ranges in the distance. Some of what I was shown was very disturbing. He has asked me to share his message with you.
Wolf: Hunting and killing our species is not good for the earth. We are part of a delicate and perfect balance that maintains the earth’s ecosystem. We are not predators to fear. We kill only the weak and sick so the strong thrive. This way we help those species thrive. The weak and sick do not live long enough to produce offspring with their faults. Why do you humans not understand this? Why must you seek to control that which cannot and should not be controlled?
Please stop the killing of the wolves and stop interfering with the earth’s perfection. You will only destroy yourselves. You are already on this path. Please speak out and do what you know in the depths of your heart to be right.
I then began to see through his eyes and to feel his sorrow. I watched in horror as I saw wolves being run down and shot at with helicopters. I began crying and felt the sorrow of this wolf and his pack mates…the kind of sorrow that drops you to your knees. I allowed the feelings to flow until they had run their course.
The realization hit me that a few weeks ago I had received an email about the beginning of a now legalized hunting season in Wisconsin for wolves. At the time I glanced briefly at the email with an awareness that this was happening having remembered signing petitions to try to stop it. I quickly deleted the email and went on. I assumed I had resigned to what was happening but clearly my connection to all that is and my connection to the animals was there under the surface waiting for me to acknowledge it.
For those of us who are sensitive, these seemingly insignificant occurrences can be a source of discomfort on a physical, energetic and spiritual level. Even with my years of awareness I still need to remember that I am affected, often times deeply, by what happens in the world. Pretending I am not doesn’t work. Busying myself with work doesn’t change it.
When we are energetically sensitive we feel all that is. Being sensitive means you feel an enormous range of emotions. You can go to the depths of despair and sorrow that literally drops you to your knees and you can reach the highest of highs when you connect into oneness and experience complete and unconditional love. It can be a roller coaster ride especially in our current times.
And yet, I wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t imagine going through this world indifferent or numbed to the experiences available. To me, there is a feeling of aliveness that comes from being sensitive and connected. I have access to so much knowledge; really all I could ever need to know is available to me.
And yes, being sensitive can be challenging too. If you don’t care for your energy body it will manifest into physical issues. You need to care for yourself in ways others might find odd. But you can learn these ways as I have. I even have programs to help with this, just email or call me.
Back to the message from Wolf. I did some research and want you to know you can help by connecting with these organizations who have been working for years to stop the hunting of wolves.
Here’s a great video clip from the Today show that explains how important wolves are to our ecosystem. http://www.thedogfiles.com/2012/03/22/the-importance-of-protecting-wolves-video/

We as a society really need to stop manipulating systems that are already perfection. We need to stop the senseless hunting of wolves, the destruction of our wetlands, rain forests and natural resources. We need to stand up to companies that are threatening our food supply with genetically modified organisms. If we don’t say no, we have said yes.
Okay, I didn’t realize this was all going to lead to a soapbox moment but it is the message from Wolf.
Please help.
Do what is right.

Wendy, Thank you for bringing our attention to this matter. I had signed the petition, too, and was waiting to hear what the outcome was. We are slowly killing our Mother and her children in the name of profits and progress. It is a disgrace.
